September is the time for returning. We return to Milan, to its rhythms, to our days in the workshop. Among tools, gold, stones, and colors, we rediscover those familiar gestures from which every creation takes shape.
HOW IS A MERÙ JEWEL CREATED?
To tell the story, let's start with Frammenti di Milano, an exclusive project for Maccapani, created as a tribute to the city where Merù originated.

1.FROM THE CITY TO THE DRAWING
INSPIRATION
Everything starts in Milan, from its landmarks, its passages, and those details that linger in the eyes more than on maps. Images of the city that are collected and reinterpreted, until they become the design of a piece of jewelry.

2.FROM DESIGN TO ENAMEL
ENAMEL
The design passes into the hands of our enamel artist. Color after color, it is hand-painted and kiln-fired, until it transforms into a small, unique work of art.
3.FROM ENAMEL TO FRAME
GOLDSMITHING
The enamelled plate then passes into the hands of the goldsmith. Between setting, finishing, and polishing, the metal is worked with precision until it can accommodate and protect the enamel.

4. THE LAST GESTURES
ASSEMBLY AND ENGRAVING
The final details complete the jewel. The elements are carefully assembled and the engraving adds the finishing touch, making every Merù creation unique and personal.
This is how a Merù jewel is born.
Every Merù jewel is born from the meeting of different skills. Every phase is entrusted to our trusted artisans and workshops, chosen for their experience and the care with which they guard their craft.
EVERYTHING CAN START WITH AN IDEA.
We welcome new ideas, insights, and desires to be transformed. If you already have something in mind, tell us about it. Together, we can give shape to your piece of jewelry.
